SYMMETREX, INC ACQUIRED BY ALTAIR FINANCIAL SERVICES INTERNATIONAL PLC
Altair Financial Services International Plc
(Altair) has acquired US based Symmetrex, Inc. an international
financial payments transaction processing company with global
reach across the Americas, Asia and
Europe.
Working in association with MasterCard® and Visa, Altair
provides bespoke white labelled Prepaid Card programs offering
enhanced functionality in a wide range of market segments.
“The acquisition of Symmetrex gives Altair the foundation and
platform infrastructure necessary to provide high availability,
robust financial applications,” declares Lee Britton, Altair
CEO. “Altair will not only benefit immediately from the low
processing rates and quality of service but also it will allow
us to utilise Symmetrex’s expertise in the rapidly growing
Prepaid Card market which is generating substantial revenues for
us.”

Symmetrex, Inc. processing products include:
* Fully secure internet payment gateway with client plug-in;
* Fraud and audit system for processing transactions through
payment gateway;
* Secure customer control centre for sending/receiving files
to/from report distribution centre;
* Card processing programs for prepaid, stored value, payroll
and health savings accounts;
* Fee payment distribution system incorporating distributor and
agent reporting
